Cost for course is $2500.00. Payment in full must be made 30 days prior to class. 1/2 down to hold a spot for the class due 60 days prior to class.

Agreement

The following rules apply to all attendees. No smoking on the site. No drugs or alcohol. Observe all rules, safety requirements, and regulations. Attend all class lectures, wear all prescribed safety apparel, and agree that if in the determination of the instructor I am not following all rules and regulations of this agreement, I may be dismissed from the class and forfeit class fees.

I affirm that I am in generally good physical condition, that I have read and understand this agreement and the potential risks and hazards of being a participant in the class. I agree to not hold Alaska School of Log Building Inc., its directors, officers, or employees/volunteers from any liability whatsoever arising from my being a part of the course. I understand and declare this release to be binding upon me, all heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

I fully understand and agree that my course fee is non-refundable and to be at the course scheduled on this agreement. If unable to attend this scheduled class with proper notice I agree to forfeit my down payment. The only other time we give a refund is in the event we cancel a course and date which you have signed up for.

What you need to provide

There are several places to stay near the class site. You will need to make arrangements for lodging and food. There is a Subway about a mile from the school site. The following is a list of lodging places to stay at close to the school.

So you will have safety apparel that fits you properly you will be required to bring the following:

Chain saw safety pants or chaps. Most of your area chainsaw dealers will handle many safety items.
Hard hat with safety screen and ear protection.
Steel toed boots preferably with kevlar lining.
Leather gloves or high quality work gloves and knee pads.
Protective shirt by GransFors-Bruk. You can purchase this from Tamarack Log Building Tools (763) 783-9773.
Rain coat or rain shirt along with older work clothing made of denim or other heavy material fit for a construction site application.
Large legal size notebook.
Camera only - no video or recording devices allowed. If you would like to send any of these items ahead of time we will be glad to store them for you.
